Algorithm:
Age and gender. Myocardial infarction can happen at any age, but young people are less likely to have it. There are the following age groups:
- up to 40 years old - low probability
- from 40 to 65 years old - high probability in men and medium probability in women
- from age 65 - high likelihood of heart attack in both sexes
Risk factors.The diseases and lifestyle listed on the questionnaire increase the risk of heart attack.
Symptoms.Myocardial infarction has a different set of clinical manifestations. The patient's risk group and current symptoms are taken into account to define a heart attack.
